Year two. For years, Jase told me I needed a hobby, so instead of crochet, or string picture making, I chose the most time consuming and expensive hobby I could find! 2008 ended up being a bit of a wash-out due to the weather in the UK that year – but still good racing to be had! RACE RESULTS (Age group 35-39):
Staffordshire Aquathlon (bike cancelled as too foggy) – 2nd in age group, 1hr 5 mins
Worthing Duathlon (swim cancelled due to force 6 gale winds!) – 2nd in age group, 2hrs 30mins
Parc Bryn Bach Triathlon – 2nd in age group, 4th woman – 2hrs 33min (Olympic Distance)
Blenheim Triathlon – 6th in age group – 1hrs 28mins (Sprint Distance)
