2010 takes me to Budapest for the Age Group World Championships representing Canada for the first time. Results for the year are below. Pictures are in the gallery.
RACE RESULTS (Age group 40-44):
ITU Age Group Worlds – DNS – broken foot still in a cast.
Calgary 70.3, Alberta (1900m swim, 94k bike, 21.1k run) – first half ironman – 2nd in age group, 10th woman overall. Total time 5hrs 19mins. (Including running a broken foot for the last 12km of the run, lost age group first place with just 3km to go!)
Invermere Olympic, BC (1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run) – 2nd in age group, 4th woman overall. Total time 2hrs 30mins.
Wasa Olympic, BC (1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run) – 1st in age group, 4th woman overall. Total time 2hrs 20mins.
Super Sprint, Calgary (500m swim, 16k bike, 3k run) – 1st in age group, 1st woman and 3rd overall. Total time 50mins 58secs.
